2. The service
ClipFinder lets users search for videos by submitting a still frame. It searches publicly available sources and links to original publisher pages. Each newly verified account receives five free searches. The dashboard shows the remaining allowance before each submission. One accepted search uses one allowance, whether or not a matching video is found. Free searches cannot be transferred. Available search-credit options and their prices are shown in the account before checkout. No purchase is made until you confirm it.
3. Accounts and verification
To create or access an account, you provide an email address and complete one-time code verification. Keep your sign-in details secure and provide accurate information. An account must be verified before it receives its five free searches.
4. Images and acceptable use
You may submit JPG, PNG, or WebP images up to 10 MB. You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit each image. Do not submit unlawful content or use the service to infringe another person’s rights, evade access controls, harass people, or interfere with the service. Details about image processing and retention appear in the Privacy Notice.
5. Search results
Search results may be incomplete or inaccurate. A visual match is not proof of who created, owns, or published a video. Users should review the linked source and its terms.
6. Intellectual property
SoftData owns or licenses the ClipFinder site design, brand elements, and original site content. Third-party marks and source videos remain the property of their respective owners.
7. Availability and changes
The service may change or be unavailable. We may update the service and these terms; the revised date will be shown above. We will provide any legally required notice of material changes.
8. Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the laws that apply to you. Additional terms may apply depending on your location.
